Sitting on 19 wooded acres at the corner of 179th Street and Metcalf in Stilwell/Overland Park, St. Francis has welcomed the people of our community for 40 years. Our parish straddles the community’s farming past and its urban present. We are a growing, family-friendly church served by our priest, Reverend Kevin Schmidt and our deacon, Jim Cummins. We enjoy wonderful music, inspiring preaching, strong leadership, and great fellowship.
Because of the dedication and visionary leadership of parishioners, St. Francis is debt free and stands solid with open doors and hearts.
